Production
Ceramic materials and products are obtained from clay masses by molding and subsequent firing. Ceramic products due to their physical and mechanical properties (moisture resistance, fire resistance, waterproofness, high strength, durability), hygiene, high decorative and artistic qualities, economy, as well as a large distribution of raw materials for their production in nature are widely used in the construction of residential, public and industrial buildings and structures.
The production of tiles in our factory is carried out on the following equipment:
Ball mill – designed for mixing raw materials
Dryer – designed for drying of finished liquid raw materials from a ball mill
Press – for forming tiles
Furnace – for firing and strengthening tiles from soft to hard state
Glaze line – for preparation and application of glaze
3D printer – for applying the design
Raw materials needed for production
For the production of tiles, JV Moderna Ceramic Industries Ferghana Ltd. uses the following materials, each of which performs a certain role in production:
Quartz sand – to increase the safety and strength of tiles
Red sand – the main material for the formation of the main specific features of tile
Yellow kaolin – is the main material for tile formation.
Glaze – to create a coating for perfect quality
Frit – for creating and applying designs and special gloss
The tile in our factory passes the following stages:
Mix preparation
Drying of finished liquid raw materials
Formation
1st stage of burning
Application of glaze
3D print
2 stage of burning
Quality test
Packaging stage
Burning and sorting of products
Another important stage is roasting. High furnace temperatures lead to the necessary chemical reactions, as a result of which physical changes occur in the tile. In the oven, the products move through the tunnel.
The temperature of the furnace is different. It ranges from 800 to 1200 ° C. It is very important at this stage to gradually reduce the ambient temperature. If the transition is not smoothly or when it is changed abruptly, the product may become deformed.
At the stage, the sorting of the product is checked. Here, the thickness, overall dimensions, the presence of cracks and the degree of rejection are estimated. Only after that the tile is packed and sent for sale.
